Purr*Pack Subscription Box Review

*All opinions in this post are mine. I was given a Purr*Pack in exchange for an honest review. This post contains affiliate links.
Send a Purr-Pack gift to the cat lover in your life!

Hey everyone! I'm back with a new review post! I approached Purr*Packs and asked if I could review their Teaser Box and they graciously let me. As some of you may know I have a cat and a dog. My cat is named Sinatra and my dog is named Chester. I love these two so so much and I've been wanting to do one of these subscription boxes for a while. There is quite a few on the market for dogs but not as many for cats so I was so excited when I found Purr*Pack!

Sinatra is a pretty picky cat. She won't eat certain foods and some toys shes doesn't really care for so I thought maybe this box would work for her and it did! She loved it! The Teaser Purr*Pack costs $24.99 a month and it contains between 5-7 items depending on the value of the items. The value of the items can equal anywhere from $35 to $40 per box. That sounds like an awesome deal to me! The Teaser box is more suited for a single cat and I agree. Sinatra doesn't share very well :)

Here's the breakdown of the items.

Here's what the box looked like when I opened it. Look at all those toys!

These are the first set of things in the box. It was quite a hassle
trying to keep Sinatra fro taking them.

This the rest of what was in the box. She wasn't fond of the treats but I think it was because of the flavor. She doesn't like seafood flavored things as weird as that sounds. The Quick Bags are more for me when I clean out her litter box which should make cleaning it easier.

They also included a cardboard scratching board which I forgot to take a picture of until she has already gone to town on it. Overall I'm very happy with this Purr*Pack and I would definitely recommend it if you have cats or need a good gift for someone who does.

As you can see the banana with catnip was her favorite! She's happy so I'm happy :)

Thank you Purr*Pack!

{Review} Impulse Cosmetics Lipsticks Samples

I love lipstick. I didn't always like it. As a matter of fact you wouldn't catch me wearing lipstick before last year but now I wear it almost everyday and my collection is growing. I'm always on the look out for new lipsticks to try and I stumbled upon Impulse Cosmetics. Impulse Cosmetics is an indie company based out of Erie, Pennsylvania. Each of their products are made by hand in small batches. Now this isn't a  group of 10-20 people. It's literally TWO people behind this amazing company. None of their products are tested on animals and most of them are Vegan unless stated. The prices of the products are pretty comparable to say Maybelline or NYX which I think is great! Let's get into the review, shall we?

I ordered five of their opaque matte lipstick samples and I love almost all of them.

(left to right) Arcadia, Dementia, Medusa, Pandora, and Bombshell

All of these colors are gorgeous! But some of them like Pandora and Dementia can require a couple of swipes but that could be due to the fact that I used a brush to apply them. The lipsticks are super moisturizing which is really important to me. Another thing that's important is staying power and all of them have great staying power!

Arcadia is actually my favorite. It's a beautiful brick red! Bombshell was a little different for me because it wasn't a dark-ish color that I've used to but it's very pretty and looks good with my pale skin. Overall I'm very happy with these lipsticks and I'll definitely be ordering full size versions. I definitely recommend them not only for traditional lipstick colors but for more out their colors like lime green or white.

I really love this company and can't wait to order more!

{Review} Temptations Snacky Mouse Cat Toy

Happy Tuesday and happy St. Patrick's Day!
I have something to share with you, as some of you may know my family has three cats, Sinatra, Khaleesi, and Trevor. They're spoiled brats but we love them regardless!

When Influenster sent me this Temotions Snacky Mouse toy, I was excited to see how the cats would react to a treat they had to work for! Sinatra immediately went for the box the second I sat it down. She knew there was something good inside which is funny because she's not really into cat treats. But she loved this toy and the treats!

I managed to get a quick video of her playing with the toy. I'm so glad she liked it!

The other cats didn't care for it as much. Trevor liked the treats but didn't want to work for them! He sat and meowed until I just gave him the treat! Khaleesi didn't care one bit for the toy or the treats which is odd considering she begs for anything that might be food.

*I received these products from Influenster complimentary  to test/review

{Review} Plum Paper Planner

*I purchased these products on my own and all opinions are my own. I'm not receiving any compensation

Hey guys!
I'm so excited to share this review with you! I recently ordered a planner from Plum Paper on Etsy and I am in love. I was debating on whether or not to get an Erin Condren planner or this one but I ultimately chose this one because it was cheaper. Its strange to me that I've never really had a planner before now. I have this need to always have a plan but I never had a planner. But now I do and I can't stop looking at it! I also bought some awesome stickers for my planner from Oh Hello Stationery Co. and there is more on that Etsy shop at the bottom.

{Review} Teatulia Loose Leaf Tea

*I received a free loose tea samples from Teatulia in exchange for writing a review on the blog.  All opinions are my own.

Organic Single Garden Teas

Happy Wednesday!
You may remember a while back I posted a review of Teatulia's bagged teas and I had nothing but good things to say about them! Today I'm reviewing a few of their loose leaf tea. I personally prefer loose tea when I can get it because it tastes so much better! The flavors are crispier and you can steep the leaves multiply times. Teatulia sent me some samples of their Chamomile tea, Black tea, and White tea. I've been drinking maybe a pot a day which is not that good for me but their tea is so good! Here's the breakdown of the teas:

{Review} Golden Barrel Baking Products Shoofly Cake Mix

*I received a free Shoofly Cake Mix from Golden Barrel Baking Products in exchange for writing a review on the blog.  All opinions are my own.

I approached Golden Barrel about trying one of their products and I was given the choice of trying this Shoofly Cake Mix or another one of their products. I was intrigued by this cake mix because I've never heard of a "Shoofly Cake". I was told it was a unique cake that is popular in the Amish area of Pennsylvania so I decided to check it out and I'm so glad I did,

Let me go ahead and say that I've never really been a molasses person, I've only had it maybe twice my whole life so its a bit foreign to me. With that being said, this cake is amazing.  Its super moist and just delicious. My brother and his two friends ate it up!

The box comes with a jar of syrup and the dry mix so all you need is the butter! There is only 3 steps which makes the whole process even easier. Another awesome thing about this mix is that it's only $2.69! That's roughly the same price as a box of regular cake mix at the grocery store so it's super affordable for such a unique cake.

Overall I give this cake mix a 10/10! Check it out for yourself here

{Review} Lara Bar's

*All opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this review

Hey guys!
I've started trying to eat better and I've discovered some pretty awesome things like black beans make amazing brownies and Lara Bars are the best meal bar EVER! They're super delicious and good for you!

Look at all those flavors and these are just the regular bars. They have other types such as the ALT bar that has 10 grams of protein!

Each bar has between 5-9 ingredients and you can actually pronounce all of them! The base of every bar are dates, aka Nature's Candy. I've only tried three flavors but I can't wait to try more. Let me show you which ones I had:

Okay. I love this one and I think it's my favorite. It only has three Internet which are dates, pecans, and almonds and it tastes amazing! The texture is great with the pecans and almonds working really well with the dates.

Chocolate Chip Brownie consists of dates, almonds, cocoa powder, sea salt, chocolate chips and walnuts! Even the chocolates chips aren't that bad for you! This bar tastes just like a chocolate chip brownie!

Who doesn't love chocolate  chip cookie dough? No one. Unless they're allergic to eggs or something and I'm so sorry if you're one of those poor souls. This bar consists of cashews, dates, chocolate chips, and sea salt. Honestly I had no idea until I was writing this that it has cashews in it, I hate cashews but I had no idea they were in here!

In conclusion, these bars are magical and delicious! Do yourself a favor, run to the store and get some!

{Review} Graze Box

Happy Wednesday!
I really enjoy doing review posts. Sometimes the products are sent to be to be reviewed and sometimes I purchase them myself to review. The latter is the case today. About a year or so ago, I heard about the Graze Box on Instagram and I decided to try it out.

Graze is a company that sends you handpicked, healthy snacks right to your door! You can get them sent every week or every two weeks. They've recently added the option to get a Big Box sent to you. The Big Boxes have 5 resealable bags of your favorite snacks! The snacks they have to chose from are great! They also have a rating system that lets them know what you like and don't like. One of the cool things is that the Nibble Boxes, which are the standard size boxes, fit in your mailbox so you don't have to worry about having to sign for anything!

I got my latest Graze box on Monday and I took pictures to show you what it's all about!

Coming Soon: Review Posts!

Hello!

I don't know if you noticed but I have a few affiliates on my blog, you can see their banners on the left hand side of my blog. These affiliates allow me to make posts for them and sometimes review products they offer! In exchange for this I basically advertise for them and I can get a portion of the sales they make when you, my lovely readers, click on the links and order something.
This allows me to continue making review posts and do giveaways in the future!

So the entire point of this post is to let you guys know that I will be
 doing two review posts soon!
I'll be reviewing Julep's Maven Box and
one for Tetulia Teas.
